Project Manager - Web Content

We are seeking a Web Content Project Manager to support our web services team. This team works with a wide variety of clients on web site development, portal production, e-newsletter publishing and other Web content projects. This is a fast-growing, dynamic team that supports client strategic initiatives including early customer adoption programs, field communication portal strategy development, and sales tools creation and support.

The Web Content Project Manager will work closely with team members to manage key projects and initiatives. He/she will serve as the internal project manager and assist with the streamlined execution of all assignments, keeping a close eye on project milestones and timelines, and communicating updates and logistics with stakeholders and vendors throughout the project.

He/she will be responsible for creating and reinforcing processes and timelines associated with these projects, while ensuring that clients are in-the-know and vendors and internal team members are always informed and on-task.

The Web Content Project Manager role at BuzzBee is responsible for the planning and management of multiple projects from inception to completion, meeting the project's requirements and ensuring that it is on time, within cost, and meets required quality standards. The Web Content Project Manager will serve as the day-to-day client and stakeholder contact for Web team projects and will be able to multi-task in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The PM won’t need to know code, but should be able to speak fluent “developer” and translate technical requirements into value-based business solutions for the client.

Responsibilities Include
Work with appropriate stakeholders to define scope, timelines, and deliverables
Development and maintenance of project schedules
Web content development and/or publishing
Create promotional and editorial plans
Manage the production and submission process for e-newsletters
Write and/or edit Web and newsletter copy
Able to prioritize and implement multiple projects at a time

Candidates for the Project Manager must bring:


3 - 5 years of project management experience at a marketing and/or interactive agency
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Demonstrated understanding of the Web content lifecycle and basics of the Web development process
Understanding of basic content and Web usability concepts
Familiarity with content management systems
Familiarity with HTML and basic SharePoint skills
Experience managing vendor relations
