Senior Marketing Manager- Account Executive

We are seeking a Senior Marketing Manager/Account Executive who has experience building various types of marketing and sales content for technology companies, including: white papers, sales playbooks, datasheets, evidence/success stories, customer presentations, FAQs, and communication plans. The ideal candidate for this position will have strong relationship building and consulting skills with the ability to translate technical concepts in to business value for Public Sector customers.

The Senior Marketing Manager is responsible for the ultimate quality and relevance of a project’s deliverables and programs, ensuring that the work accurately portrays the technology, market, and sales strategy of our clients’ initiatives. The Senior Marketing Manger will plan, identify, and write sales tools, counsel clients on requests and deliverables, and work with subcontracted writers and editors to ensure deliverables are high quality and on message.

This role will involve the creation and editing of content, so you must understand what the message should be at a high level, what the key elements are in telling the story, and how to translate somewhat technical concepts into business value statements. Responsibilities Include:

Writing and/or managing the execution of deliverables such as: whitepapers, cases studies, presentations, datasheets, positioning frameworks, and resource guides.
Understanding the clients’ business domain and interfacing with a variety of clients
Developing high-level product positioning and messaging
Understanding how to position messages by audience, segment and sales roles
Managing subcontractors, communicating positioning and messaging, and overseeing the quality of their work
Ensuring quality control of all deliverables
Helping project managers select writers and editors based on their domain knowledge

Candidates for the Marketing Manager must bring:


Minimum of 7 years experience in various phases of marketing communications and sales tool development in a technology company or agency servicing a technology company
A writing portfolio showcasing a variety of sales tools
A bachelors degree in communications, public relations, English or writing
Experience with Government, Health, and/or Education subject matter, customers, etc. a plus
