Senior Marketing Manager

We are seeking a senior marketing manager who is a content development expert with subject matter expertise in desktop applications, solution selling and competitive marketing. The position requires a versatile and creative marketer who can manage a team of people, identify and secure new business opportunities, and provide strategic council as well as implement day-to-day marketing tactics. Following are some of the specific skills we are seeking:

Manage a team of highly skilled, fast learning marketers who continually want greater challenges
Build business plan for your channel and establish new client relationships
Oversee account financials for your account team
Serve as a strategic advisor and content subject matter expert for your team
Conceptualize and draft key positioning tools for various products and solutions
Manage the execution of the deliverables such as: whitepapers, cases studies, presentations, datasheets, positioning frameworks, and resource guides.

Candidates for the Senior Marketing Manager must bring:


Minimum 8 years product marketing, communications, public relations experience
Minimum 4 years in business-to-business marketing in the technology industry
Expertise in the enterprise technology industry, working with companies such as Microsoft, Intel, Oracle, IBM and Sun
Proven experience with the development and execution of technology platform marketing strategy, content planning and competitive analysis
Proven experience in developing high level messaging, business value positioning, competitive messaging and customer evidence
