Marketing Manager

We are seeking a marketing manager who has experience marketing technology initiatives, software products, and/or services. The candidate should have experience in content development, competitive analysis, and marketing to technical and/or business audiences. The position requires a versatile marketer who can understand technology, create marketing programs, and implement day-to-day marketing tactics. Following are some of the specific skills we are seeking:

Understand the evolving technology needs for technical decision makers in response to upgrading, managing and deploying software suites
Be able to grasp industry landscape and its primary influencers
Build a competitive marketplace matrix and conduct competitive intelligence
Interview customers, field and partners to understand their sales and marketing needs
Build various types of marketing and sales content, including: white papers, sales playbooks, datasheets, case studies, presentations, and FAQs
Provide value-add guidance to clients to help them exceed their marketing objectives
Act as strategic editor to review content, determine quality, and edit materials as needed

Candidates for the Marketing Manager must bring:


Minimum 4 years product marketing, communications and/or public relations experience
Minimum 4 years in business-to-business marketing in the technology industry
Expertise in the technology software industry; working with companies such as Microsoft, Intel, IBM, Open Source Software
Proven experience with content development, competitive analysis and marketing campaign program management
