HDS Seizes New Market Opportunities

Situation

Hitachi Data Systems (HDS) saw an opportunity to deliver value to its customers by simplifying the data protection strategy in virtualized environments so that administrators could quickly and easily create criteria to automate processes across their organizations. The challenge for HDS came from figuring out how to best approach this new market opportunity. Who were the customers in need of this type of solution and how could HDS most effectively position its products to fill that customer need?

Solution

BuzzBee worked with HDS to develop its story, illustrating the various ways that HDS solutions can help customers protect, manage, archive, and recover mission-critical data stored in Microsoft Exchange Server email repositories. The story and subsequent white paper shared the virtualization story that HDS wanted to tell and helped guide organizations in deciding which HDS solution to implement in support of the native capabilities of Exchange Server. As HDS creates more deliverables in the coming years, it will utilize this story foundation to guide the core of its future messaging.
