Technical Marketing Consultant

Primary Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and carry out technical marketing strategies
  • Establish and develop technical marketing objectives and goals
  • Analyze and interpret marketing trends concerning technical products or services
  • Stay current on new and emerging technology and how it can be used to keep us fresh
  • Contribute to the creation of case studies and other marketing collateral
  • Prepare and present analytical reports
  • Provide technical advice and explanations to the team
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and members of the BuzzBee internal team to define, scope, and create gloat-worthy work
  • Work with different members of our team and integrate feedback well
  • Bring your A-game to work everyday

Critical Competencies

  • 7-10 years of experience in technology
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, business, or equivalent tech-heavy background
  • Fluency with enterprise software, cloud-based services and understanding of technical and decision-making IT audiences
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Interpersonal competences and presentation skills
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Ability to explain highly-technical concepts to less tech-savvy people
  • Exceptional self-management skills, including diehard commitment to adhering to deadlines and prioritizing effectively
  • Ability to work under pressure and with limited direction at peak performance
  • High tolerance for nerdiness
