Qualitative Market Research Consultant

Primary Responsibilities

  • Interpret data, formulate reports, and make recommendations based on key research findings
  • Work with the team and clients to understand, define, and document each project’s overarching business objectives and how to meet them
  • Craft effective and personal interview questions for clients, conduct dynamic interviews, and have an intuitive sense for when to dive deeper into a subject
  • Keep up with new tech industry research findings
  • Work on projects for different clients and present findings
  • Conduct in-depth data analyses using traditional and advanced methods
  • Write reports containing actionable recommendations for clients
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and members of the BuzzBee internal team to define, scope, and create gloat-worthy work
  • Work with different members of our team, work efficiently, take and integrate feedback well
  • Bring your A-game to work everyday

Critical Competencies

  • 7-10 years of experience in market research
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, mathematics, economics, or equivalent
  • Fluency with enterprise software, cloud-based services, and understanding of technical and decision-making IT audiences is a plus
  • Laser-focused analytic and critical thinking skills
  • Expertise with Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis software
  • Excellent communication skills in fast-paced and dynamic work environment, with internal team, partners, and clients
  • Experience with interviewing and client-facing presentations
  • Exceptional self-management skills, including diehard commitment to adhering to deadlines and prioritizing effectively
  • Ability to work under pressure and with limited direction at peak performance
  • High tolerance for nerdiness
